This is a new convenient space in the community for us to hold our wānanga, Whānau Whakapuāwai, a perinatal maternal mental health service, rāranga/traditional weaving, rongoā services, and more coming soon.
It was a privilege to have Matua Ruawhitu Pokaia, Ngāti Wairere, Ngāti Maiapoto, lead the blessing. Ngā mihi to Mahina Kingi-Kau for the beautiful taonga pūoro. The space was gifted a beautiful pounamu touch stone. After the blessing, we shared a kai and kaimahi settled into their new space.
