Human Resource Administrator

The Trust is looking for someone who can deliver quality HR administrative support with recruitment and payroll, and provide administrative HR advice. The successful individual will have a collaborative approach to working, the ability to listen, and provide advice in a diplomatic and professional manner. The individual will also have an appreciation for the values and principles of kaupapa Māori.

Well Child Tamariki Ora Nurse (0.6 FTE)

This role supports the health and wellbeing of pēpi, tamariki and their whānau by delivering the Tamariki Ora / Well Child service within the Trust. The Nurse will carry out the national Tamariki Ora / Well Child schedule to whaiora / whānau in their homes. The service is delivered with a strengths-based, whānau-centred and mana-enhancing approach.

Registered Nurse – Primary Community Health Care Nurse

This role will use all your primary health care nursing skills, giving you autonomy to meet the needs of whānau you are working with. Your primary and priority focus will be as a key member of our outreach immunisation team, whilst you will also support the primary care and community nursing team.

If you are a registered nurse, authorised as an infant to adult vaccinator (without restrictions) and with a full driver’s licence, we would love to hear from you.

Kaiwhakapuawai - Tamariki Ora

Are you passionate about supporting whānau, and have experience in te ao Māori? Are you keen to work with a kaupapa Māori community organisation? Do you like your days to be varied and busy?

The role supports the health and wellbeing of pēpi, tamariki and their whānau by supporting the delivery of care for client whānau journey from hapūtanga to five years. You will have knowledge of positive parenting practices and experience in working with tamariki and whānau in a community setting delivering key health promotion messages and assist with meeting client whānau needs.

The work of the Kaiwhakapuawai is guided by Lead Maternity Carer (LMC)-midwives and Registered Nurses and the client whānau health needs assessment with a whānau-led approach. The Kaiwhakapuawai will work alongside the LMC midwife to support early engagement for whānau needing extra support and the smooth transition of care along this continuum into Tamariki Ora Well Child at the Trust.

We are seeking someone with a knowledge of Microsoft programmes, patient management systems, a full driver’s licence, and a passion to make a difference for whānau.

The position is Monday to Friday, ideally 40 hours per week, however this is negotiable for suitable applicants.
