Our service supports whānau, residing in the Waimakariri and Ōtautahi areas, to successfully manage their financial wellbeing with confidence, leading to long-term financial stability and improved overall hauora.
Our Kaitohutohu (Financial Mentors) are available for one-on-one support which includes mentoring and education. This is achieved through whānau ora / strength-based approach which is whānau led.
MoneyMates sessions is a fun, interactive, educational kaupapa which is guided by Kaitohutohu. Sessions are tailored to whānau need and can include but is not limited to:
• Kai on a budget
• How to write a Will
• Saving for a home
Whānau are encouraged to learn from others, as they talk about money and finances in a group environment.
