Using a te ao Māori lens, the course is grounded in the creation story to explore the phases of our parenting journey. Working closely with this group, the programme aims to strengthen our skills as parents and work together to actively build positive parenting that challenges past behaviours and assumptions.
The value I took from this programme is way more than I was expecting. A natural flow through each session made it easier to understand the knowledge on offer that can help me. I can't wait to use these new tools on my parenting journey. Ultimately, I learnt more about myself to see what areas I can improve because I want my kids to follow their dreams, no matter how big they are.
