We tautoko Māori and Pasifika whānau with tamariki aged three to five and a half years old to enrol into an appropriate early childhood education setting and maintain attendance.

This service supports whānau to understand the benefits of early childhood education.

By combining the strengths of the education and social work sectors, this programme works alongside whānau to plan, visit centres, help with culturally appropriate choices, to maintain regular attendance and to assist whānau in understanding the benefits of early education.

Early childhood education builds the interest and abilities of tamaiti, provides a chance for tamaiti and their whānau to meet new people, make friends, get along with others, and be involved in their community. This helps your tamaiti gain skills to be ready for kura.
