Tamaiti Healthy Homes is a free and confidential service that is whānau/aiga led.
Working in partnership with Tangata Atumotu Trust, Tamaiti Healthy Homes aims to reduce the number of tamariki in hospital due to ill health and housing-related conditions. We aim to increase the number of tamariki living in warm, dry, and healthy homes.
Our kaimahi work alongside whānau to identify need through a housing assessment. Kaimahi then coordinate with agencies and partners to access a range of supports and education.
We work with whānau and landlords in private rentals, community or social housing and owner/whānau occupied homes.
