Lesley is from Glenavy, South Canterbury on the Waitaki River. Lesley has a diploma in Iwi Development and is active in her Waitaha iwi and secretary of the Waitaha Taiwhenua o Waitaki Trust. Over the years, Lesley has run her own businesses in food and grocery here in Aotearoa and in Australia. Being a ‘Jill of All Trades’, Lesley is experienced in most aspects of office management and plays a big part in ensuring systems are running smoothly in our busy office. Lesley enjoys reading and playing golf. Her whānau, health and kai are important to her. “As Waitaha, we follow in the footsteps of Roko-marae-roa,” said Lesley who joined the Trust to make a difference. She is passionate about removing barriers to whānau achieving their potential, achieving their goals.
