Liz Krause brings over 25 years of leadership and governance experience across housing, health, mental health, and addiction services in both Aotearoa and Australia. She currently serves as Regional Director for Kāinga Ora in Canterbury, where she leads teams focused on customer wellbeing, community partnerships, and housing maintenance. Her career spans senior roles in both government and non-government sectors, including national leadership in mental health, service commissioning, and health service management. A registered nurse with deep clinical and strategic expertise, Liz is committed to mana-enhancing, culturally grounded services that empower whānau to thrive. Her values align closely with Te Puawaitanga’s kaupapa and vision, and she is committed to deepening her understanding of Te Ao Māori to better support whānau and the wider community.
