Te Puawaitanga ki Ōtautahi Trust kicked off celebrations for World Breastfeeding Week with a physical and digital exhibition at Christchurch City Libraries. Kōrero Whāngai Ū showcases the extraordinary challenge of nurturing babies.

The exhibit highlighted the importance of breastfeeding for pēpi, breastfeeding parents, whānau and communities. There were some wonderfully diverse stories and images of Canterbury families and their infant feeding journeys. The photographs were born out of a project undertaken last Here-turi-kōkā / August where the photos were featured alongside their stories in social spaces.
