Tamaiti Healthy HomesWe are pleased to announce the launch of Tamaiti Healthy Homes initiative with our partner Tangata Atumoutu Trust who will co-deliver the initiative in Ōtautahi.

The collaboration comes on the heels of our previous successful collaboration with the Māui Clinic at The Hub Hornby, which delivered thousands of COVID-19 vaccinations to Māori and the Pacific community.

The brand is made up of three triangles, with three meanings:

  1. A shape that is symbolic of Polynesia as a whole (which is the triangular region between Rapanui/ Easter Island, Hawaii and Aotearoa).
  2. The mountains that help connect us to our tūrangawaewae.
  3. Shark teeth which can symbolise protection, strength and adaptability in Pacific cultures.

Each triangle is made up of individual lines that come together but remain independent, symbolising raranga or the weaving together of two organisations that have their own unique identity, culture and purpose but have come together to increase the number of children living in warm, dry and healthy homes.

It is our joint aim that these interventions will reduce avoidable hospitalisations and ill health due to housing-related conditions.
