Bhavisha was born in Mumbai, India and now lives in Ōtautahi from past seven years, she has done her Postgraduate Diploma in Communications specialising in Digital Media from Auckland University of Technology. Bhavisha loves being part of a kaupapa Māori organisation, feeling connected, grounded, and rooted in work that makes a real difference out in the community. Outside of mahi, she loves quiet moments, and spending time with her husband, friends and pet budgies. She’s also unapologetically obsessed with true crime and solving mysteries. In an alternate universe, Bhavisha is absolutely a spy, quietly observing, connecting clues, and pretending it’s just her “Ravenclaw brain doing its thing.” Her friends are used to the subtle detective energy by now. At heart, she’s someone who values warmth, humour, and creating spaces where people feel welcomed, understood, and genuinely themselves.
